Michael’s development as a writer began during his years as a Story Analyst for CBS Entertainment, grounded in a fifteen-year award-winning career in the theater, in works ranging from Shakespeare to original drama and musicals. After authoring several screenplays, he turned his hand to journalism as a regularly featured columnist in The Palisades Post, an award-winning local newspaper in Los Angeles.

 

A full length monodrama followed, Sherlock Holmes and The Shakespeare Mystery, which Michael performed to standing ovations in venues from coast to coast and in Europe. In 2009, a devotional memoir followed, Romancing the Divine – The Art and Science of Falling in Love with God,detailing Michael’s experiences with saints and yoga masters in the lineage of the revered world-teacher, Paramahansa Yogananda. An expanded edition of Romancing the Divine, with 75 additional pages, was published in January of 2018.

 

Michael Henry Dunn came to world-wide attention through his free-lance alternative journalism covering the Global Collateral Accounts story in 2012-13, which led to his human rights work and a leadership role in the restoration of Chivalry as a meaningful moral force in the world. This story culminated in his authorship of Templar Return - A Memoir of Hidden Gold, The Rising Goddess, and The Restoration of Chivalry, which is now available on Amazon.
